Brian Keith Denton-Trujillo is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education - Vocal/Choral, and is currently pursuing a Master of Legal Studies from National Juris University in Phoenix, AZ.
He has performed numerous times with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Opera Birmingham, the nationally-acclaimed choir Sursum Corda, and is formerly a staff singer at Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, AL and the internationally syndicated Eternal Word Television Network in Irondale, AL. Brian made his Carnegie Hall (NYC) debut in 2016 with the Birmingham-Southern College choirs performing a solo on Bloch’s “Sacred Service”.
Brian is actively involved in The Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Alabama where he serves on the Young Adult Ministry Steering Committee and is an elected member of the triennial House of Deputies in the 79th General Convention of The Episcopal Church where he will be serving as an Alternate Deputy in July 2018.
He and his husband Oscar live in Vestavia Hills, AL with their beloved dog Mozart, and are active members of the Church of the Ascension, where Brian serves as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, Cantor, Chorister, and is currently discerning a call to be ordained in The Episcopal Church.
